Not shying away, the TikTok user decided to post the message thread on her platform letting the world be the judge of the situation and after close analysis, many people pointed out that the message sent to her seems more intentional than accidental.
A woman took to TikTok to share how her Bumble date sent a rude text to her accidentally when it was meant for his friend.
It was humiliating for him, to say the least.

OP shared the text thread on the platform which shows the guy Jake said he was “a lucky guy to get to take [Samantha] out,” he then sent a picture of her in her bathing suit with an accompanying text, clearly not meant for her to see.

However, it seems like “Jake” did not take kindly to this, replying to the text thread with a meltdown over the TikTok, claiming he’d been “catfished.”
Similar to “West Elm Caleb” and several other dating stories as of late, “Silly Goose Jake,” as he’s been nicknamed by our original poster, has reportedly done the same thing to several other women.

Apparently there was another man named Cody who our OP matched with back in 2021, and now OP raised suspicions that Cody might be impersonating to be Jake all this time.

Since the whole situation became so confusing, OP decided to step back from it, however, the working theory from Samatha’s end is Cody is Jake, Jake is a catfish and Cody intentionally sent that text to her to mess with her.
But since we have no proof, one can only raise eyebrows at the behavior of people on dating apps once again.
