VIDEO: Man beaten by Colorado Springs police officers during traffic stop, attorneys call for criminal investigation

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo — Two attorneys in Georgia are calling for a criminal investigation into the actions of several Colorado Springs police officers, who they say viciously beat their client, 29-year-old Dalvin Gadson, during a traffic stop last October.

Attorneys Harry Daniels and Latrice Latin, shared body camera video from the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) Monday.

Daniels said Gadson, who is Black, was a veteran living out of his car. Daniels said Gadson was honorably discharged from the Army.

Gadson suffered damage to his eye and a ruptured eardrum, after several officers punched and kicked Gadson.

Colorado Springs police responded to the arrest on Tuesday, citing that an administrative review of the officers’ use of force found the actions were within policy.
